Thirty-seven year old mother in Texas living with mesothelioma for years

Stephanie Harper, of Bonham, Texas, has to pay the price now for hugging and grabbing her dad as a child. Her innocuous behavior led to her exposure to asbestos, because her father performed all sorts of handy work, such as automechanics, heating and cooling, et cetera, that involved asbestos.

Stephanie's doctors found a tumor during a surgery she had at 22, after her daughter was born. Although Stephanie has lived years longer than most mesothelioma victims since receiving her diagnosis, her cancer still comes with its pain. To read more on Stephanie's plight, click here.
